Main Purpose of Role

Working within the Change Delivery department you will be responsible for delivering both internal and external pieces of work in a timely manner and to a high standard. The work that you will be required to produce may require you to work on one or more technologies to provide the best solution possible. You will be required to work on a variety of job types, ranging from simple text changes taking a few minutes, to more complex changes that may require a number of weeks’ work. A major consideration at all times is the security and quality of the work carried out; as such you need to ensure that you adhere to the change process as well as the security and testing procedures. Communication with other Mail Metrics teams is a vital component of the job role, as we need to ensure that production schedules are maintained.

Role Description

• Learn and apply validation techniques to meet customer quality standards.
• Assist in advising stakeholders on solution capabilities and limitations.
• Follow internal procedures to support testing and proofing processes.
• Participate in solution testing as directed.
• Support timely delivery of solutions, raising risks or concerns early.
• Review job requirements and escalate issues to senior team members.
• Help assess delivery timelines and flag potential delays.
• Maintain communication with planning and customer teams.
• Log defects and changes using appropriate tools and methods.
• Learn to distinguish between client-raised defects and change requests.
• Assist in building workflows for transactional mailings.
• Support enhancements to print-ready data using guided composition methods.
• Actively develop skills in document composition technologies.
• Accurate time recording for work carried out to aid KPIs and billing.

• Scripting experience.
• Experience of using the Quadient Inspire Designer document composition software.
• Experience of using the Quadient Inspire Automation software.
• Experience of using the Quadient Inspire Interactive software.
• Previous experience of working with a workflow solution.
• An understanding of data formats (CSV, XML, JSON).
• Experience of document composition software.
• An understanding of mail sortation.
