Adare SEC announced as three-time UK IT Industry Awards 2022 Finalist

We’re proud to announce that Adare SEC has been named a finalist in three categories in the prestigious BCS & Computing UK IT Industry 2022 Awards. Devised by the BCS – The Chartered Institute for IT - and Computing magazine, the UK IT Industry Awards are a platform to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.

Adare SEC has been shortlisted in three categories:

  • Best Financial Services IT Project of the year – entered in partnership with a client in the financial services sector, detailing the overhaul of a necessary regulatory process relating to pension funds. Adare SEC digitally transformed the process for the client, creating an online portal which offers the client’s 140,000 members a personalised experience and allows them to self-serve and make important decisions relating to their funds. This digital capability has driven a 200% increase in member engagement.
  • Best User Engagement Project of the year – entered in partnership with a financial services client in the automotive sector, recognising the development of an intuitive document repository that has enables the client’s customers to access key information and to self-serve. This project, implemented swiftly as an immediate response to increasing customer enquiry volumes during the pandemic, has significantly reduced the number of monthly emails and calls to the provider’s client service operatives.
  • Best Technology refresh project – recognising the work and investment that has been made internally across our production sites to streamline operations and drive efficiency and quality for clients.

Allan Rowan, Chief Commercial Officer, Adare SEC comments: “We are extremely honoured to be nominated as finalists in these three categories. A look at some of the past winners shows the status and calibre of these awards, and to be shortlisted is a significant achievement. We’re hugely proud of the steps we have taken internally in terms of investing in our technology portfolio and continuously improving our offering to clients. Similarly, our joint entries with clients emphasise our close working partnerships and reinforce our position as the industry leader in digital transformation.”

Tom Allen, Editorial Director, Computing, says: “Reaching the shortlist for the UK IT Industry Awards is a fantastic achievement. Each year we distil hundreds of entries down to the very best of the best with a rigorous and fiercely independent selection process, and earning a spot on that list is something to be truly proud of. Congratulations to Adare SEC on making it this far - we look forward to seeing you on the judging day.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at London’s Battersea Evolution on 9th November.
