As further weeks of lockdown approach, I do hope that you, your colleagues and your family are remaining safe and healthy. To ensure you are receiving suitable comfort about our key services, I’m pleased to share further positive updates with you.
Firstly, I’m delighted to welcome a key new addition to the Adare SEC Board. Allan Rowan joins the Exec team as our Director of Growth and Client Development. Allan will oversee our account management and sales development activities and he brings with him a wealth of experience in the customer communications sectors. Allan is looking forward to meeting with you, doing so virtually over the coming weeks so he can understand more about your business and how we can help you to achieve your goals. As restrictions are lifted, Allan will be on the road to meet with you face to face. We have updated our website with his profile, so please do take a look here.
To update you on service levels, I am pleased to confirm our teams at Adare SEC continue to be on track at all 3 of our sites. Attendance levels also remain high as we continue to work in line with official safety guidance. Our colleagues continue to observe social distancing and cleaning practices and importantly, we also ensure that we continue our focus on personal wellbeing.
As the awareness of the pandemic heightened, my Exec team and I had quickly mobilised increased governance activities to make sure that we were pragmatically focused on the management of risk whilst diligently enhancing business continuity measures. In line with that, we quickly established task forces which oversee client centric management, business operations, and colleague safety and wellbeing. One taskforce to note is the Partner Continuity team which focuses specifically on management of our supply chain. At this time, I’m pleased to report that our raw material stocks and consumables remain in good supply and are being managed well.
To closely monitor the effective mailing performance of your critical communications, we are also in regular contact with the Royal Mail with whom we have a key relationship as a postal licence holder. Adare SEC is also an active member of the Strategic Mailing Partnership (SMP) which is the largest group of mail and print service suppliers in the UK. Overall, Royal Mail is largely operating as expected and indicate that any delays to delivery are kept to a minimum.
We also partner with Whistl, our downstream access provider. They have informed us that some of their services have been reduced owing to a fall in general demand due to COVID-19. This will only impact services associated with weekend processing which could result in a 1 day delay in delivery for some mail. We are working closely with Whistl and receive regular updates from them. We are assured that any impacts will be minimal and we have informed those clients effected, however, please don’t hesitate to contact your account manager if you require any further information.
Finally, I hope you will have seen the positive news shared following the announcement of our financial results. The industry magazine Printweek shared a great article. This was promptly followed by an article by the Yorkshire Post which focuses on our ‘people first culture’, something my Exec team and I are particularly proud of. You will find these articles on our website and we will continue to share updates on LinkedIn.
