Adare SEC Proposes to Migrate sites

Nottingham Office - Adare SEC

After a lengthy and detailed evaluation process, Adare SEC, a leading provider of Secure and Essential Communication Solutions, is proposing to re-locate its Guildford production operation into its Nottingham site by the end of 2017.

Following Adare Group’s acquisition of Banner Managed Communication (BMC) in May 2016, BMC was integrated into the Adare Group with the Guildford production site merging into Adare SEC. In the following months, Adare SEC acquired Nottingham based Polestar Applied Solutions. After a comprehensive review of these sites it was clear that significant synergies could potentially be made by re-locating Guildford’s production into the Nottingham site, whilst offering the benefits of the full Adare SEC Essential Communications proposition to the Guildford customers.

Further investment at the Nottingham site is also planned to increase capacity, this includes; site refurbishment and infrastructure, additional digital print and enclosing capacity, postal sortation capability and additional personnel. The Nottingham site has also recently benefitted from a £3 million investment which included a Canon Océ ColorStream 3900Z, a speed upgrade to its existing ColorStream from 3700 to 3900, a Tecnau Dynamic Perforator and software enhancements.

Barry Crich, Managing Director at Adare SEC comments, “After extensive discussions we are proposing to re-locate the Guildford site’s production into our Nottingham site and we are working with all the employees affected at the Guildford site to find the best possible outcome. This re-location will enable Guildford customers to benefit from the full Adare SEC Essential Communications proposition, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards of the Nottingham site and the dual site capabilities between Nottingham and Huddersfield. We are also further investing in technology, people and infrastructure at the Nottingham site; this follows a recent £3m investment project with Canon that has just completed.”
