Adare SEC has received an EcoVadis Silver rating for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices – meaning the business is in the top 15% of companies evaluated by the organisation.
CSR aims to ensure companies conduct business in an ethical way by evaluating its social, economic and environmental impact as well as the consideration of human rights.
Adare SEC continues to ensure it is a business operating ethically which EcoVadis, an independent CSR assessment agency, has recognised and awarded the Silver accolade – falling short of Gold by only a few points.
EcoVadis’ evaluation covers 21 criteria across four themes; environment, fair labour practices, ethics/fair business practices and supply chain.
It is built on international CSR standards including the Global Reporting Initiative and the United Nations Global Compact, covering 150 spend categories and 140 countries.
Richard Slee, CEO of Adare SEC, said: “Our Silver award demonstrates our continued commitment to our corporate responsibility as a leading provider of Secure and Essential Communication Solutions.”
