Taking our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seriously means we have embedded CSR values throughout our business, through our colleagues and operational activities. These values are fully supported by all of the Executive Team.
We are proud to have achieved an EcoVadis Silver accreditation in 2018 and have been working tirelessly over the last 12 months to achieve Gold. We have an active Charity Committee that run regular events across all our sites raising money for selected charities, with everyone encouraged to get involved raising thousands of pounds.
Business activities that affect the environment, colleagues, customers, community and suppliers are taken into account and monitored as part of our CSR policy. This helps to ensure that all actions taken positively affect key stakeholders and the environment.
We have created a policy framework that outlines and enables responsible business behavior. We encourage an inclusive environment of innovation, continued development and the application of best practice in all that we do. Within the business we focus on ensuring we achieve greater levels of performance in key areas such as health and safety, the environment and colleague satisfaction.
We encourage business practices which, as well as being good for the wider community, ensure we continue to build a successful and profitable company with a long-term business plan. By monitoring our success in all areas we ensure we are achieving our sustainable development goals.
