Adare SEC statement, 23rd May 2019

Adare SEC has recently been mentioned in the media with regards to the late delivery of EU Election Postal Ballots.  Adare SEC released the below statement in response:

“We work successfully in partnership with a number of UK Councils on the European Election campaign. Quality and on-time delivery is always of the utmost importance to us, and as such, Adare SEC is pleased to confirm that all Postal Ballot Papers were produced and released into the postal system in line with the Election and Council timetables. As per good industry practice, we use reputable international mail handlers for our overseas mail delivery who assess the best route through other European countries before the mail arrives at the final destination.”

Adare SEC has also released a further statement:

“Adare SEC produced 2,331 overseas postal ballot papers for the European Elections on behalf of a number of UK Councils which were distributed via our postal partner, Whistl. All postal ballot papers were released into the international postal networks on time in line with Election and Council timetables.”
